How do I transfer my I-20?
Our Student Advisors at Kaplan International will be more than happy to help you with the transfer process. They will assist you in preparing the documents you need to complete the transfer and get a new I-20 from Kaplan. Please speak to a Kaplan representative to start the process and get more information.

- I am in the US on a tourist visa. Which course can I take?
- With a tourist visa, you can take our part-time Vacation English class. If you would like to explore other options other than Vacation English, please contact a Kaplan representative for more information.
- Which courses are I-20 eligible?
- With the exception of Vacation English, all Kaplan International courses are I-20 eligible.
- What time will my classes at Kaplan be?
- Kaplan schools are open Monday through Friday. You will have classes in the morning or the afternoon. We unfortunately do not currently offer courses at night or on weekends. For English classes and for TOEFL® preparation, you will receive your schedule on your first day of class, after taking the placement test. For GRE® and GMAT® preparation, you will receive your schedule the week before you start your course.
- Can I transfer from Kaplan to a college or university?
- With Kaplan’s University Placement Service, it is very simple to transfer into a college or university once you have finished your course at Kaplan. We have agreements with over 175 institutions in the USA and Canada, and most of them will accept a Kaplan Certificate in place of a TOEFL® exam to prove your English.
